Paw Patrol Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Miami, Florida. Our mission is to save, rehabilitate, and re-home abandoned, found, and surrendered animals. With a focus on providing love and care, we place healthy, happy pets in the right forever homes. As a foster-based rescue, we rely entirely on dedicated volunteers who open their hearts and homes to these deserving animals. Our pets are spread across private homes in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. We provide everything our fosters need—food, medical care, and supplies—while they supply the most important thing: love. Founded by Cristy Torres and Ana Lopez, our journey began from a deep passion and compassion for animals. Today, we manage the rescue with a small but mighty team of volunteers and fosters. Together, we've helped re-home 1,369 animals and have supported many more through partnerships with fellow rescues when resources were tight. At any given time, we care for approximately 40 animals, many of whom come to us from heartbreaking circumstances. Miami is a hotbed for abandoned and neglected pets, and we work closely with local authorities on cases of hoarding, abuse, and neglect. We also pull animals from overcrowded shelters, rescue those injured on the streets, and take on urgent cases no one else can. From puppies in boxes to senior dogs hit by cars, we spare no effort or expense to give them a second chance. Our work is not easy, but the transformations we see are nothing short of miraculous. The joy of witnessing an animal’s recovery and adoption into a loving home makes it all worthwhile. With the power of social media, we’ve been able to build a supportive community of animal lovers across the country. Every penny donated goes directly to the care of these animals, ensuring they get the medical attention, food, and shelter they deserve.
