Who We Are

Wild West Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (WWWRC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the Texas Panhandle and beyond. Founded in 2016 by Stephanie Brady, a former emergency and internal medicine veterinary technician with over 17 years of experience, WWWRC is the only State, Federal, and USDA-licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility within the 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned Texas wildlife while promoting conservation through education and community engagement.

What We Do

Each year, WWWRC provides expert care to more than 3,200 wild animals, including songbirds, raptors, raccoons, skunks, foxes, and bobcats. We also educate thousands of students and community members through outreach programs that encourage responsible coexistence with wildlife.

Our work includes:
Rescue & Rehabilitation: Veterinary care, medical treatment, and pre-release conditioning for orphaned and injured wildlife located in top 26 counties of the Texas Panhandle. We also cover areas of Texas that will not accept certain animals including bobcats, skunks, foxes and racoons.

Education & Outreach: We partner with WOWW to provide wildlife conservation programs in schools and in our Education Center to over 3000 students across 51 counties in Texas and Cannon Air Force Base and in Clovis, New Mexico.

Community Partnerships: We work closely with law enforcement and animal control officers on wildlife handling and conflict situations. We also provide hands-on experience for veterinary and pre-vet students from Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine and West Texas A&M University.
