We support the conservation of the African Painted dog (or Painted Wolf) with particular emphasis on threat prevention, and support 6 projects in Zimbabwe and Zambia. 100 years ago, there were 500,000 Painted Dogs across Africa, and today only approximately 7,000 exist. We provide resources and facilities to support research, treatment and care of sick and injured Painted Dogs, rehabilitation of such dogs to be released back into the wild, education of the wider community on Painted Dogs and related wildlife issues We employ Anti-poaching Teams to remove the deadly wire snares from the bush, provide vehicles and motorbikes, radiotracking equipment, education supplies and local employment initiatives.
