K9Aid is a "not for profit" Charity founded by Australian Animal Rescue advocate - Cindy Amey. The charity's main goal is to help animals in distress through fundraising & re-homing. K9Aid helps support several small rescue groups & shelters in Thailand, Romania, Greece & Turkey, Bali & Vietnam by raising funds to help treat injured street dogs in their care, and to help provide food & infrastructure where possible. One of their main aims is also to teach these small groups how to fundraise on their own through social media. The charity has also helped to re-home over 400 street dogs into loving homes in countries like USA, Canada & the UK. Many of these dogs were rescued from the Illegal Dog Meat Trade, abandoned dogs & previously ill street dogs. K9Aid rely solely on donations to continue their work with funds raised through their website & facebook page.
