Loop Upcycling is a Western Australian social enterprise dedicated to transforming corporate textile waste into new, useful products. By partnering with businesses, we develop innovative solutions to repurpose redundant textiles, significantly reducing waste and keeping these materials out of landfill. Our mission goes beyond environmental impact; we also focus on providing training and meaningful employment opportunities to individuals who face significant barriers to employment, such as women from culturally diverse backgrounds, refugees, and those affected by domestic violence. Since our inception, Loop has diverted 34 tonnes of textiles from landfill and created employment for 84 individuals. These opportunities not only offer a pathway to financial independence but also empower people through skills development and community engagement.
