• To act as a contact and liaison point between people who want to rehome their dogs and people who wish to adopt them.
• To facilitate the provision of care and accommodation to surrendered or impounded dogs, by providing an enriching foster home. To care for them, arrange veterinary treatment, provide training and rehabilitate the dogs, before finding a suitable and permanent adoptive home for them.
• To provide veterinary care for fostered dogs, if required, prior to placement in a suitable permanent home. All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped, worm and flea treated and desexed before being adopted out to suitably matched forever homes.
• To provide education on responsible pet ownership practices and responsible rehoming practises and encourage prospective dog owners to adopt a dog/pup before supporting back yard breeding or puppy farms.
• To provide ongoing support and advice to those adopting, for the life of their new dog.
