Budgie sanctuary rescue is a one person run rescue that doesn’t get any other grants from other places so this would mean a lot being that we only just got registered so setting up and expanding . 

To expand with costs like concrete replacement and sprinklers systems for the aviaries, insulation for the avairies  just the weekly food bills at over $350 a week .

The there is the veterinary costs that tend to be quite costly also .

 Here at budgie sanctuary we rescue birds from neglect and abuse situations whilst working to shut down these situations so birds no longer have to suffer . 

We also educate around the correct ways to care for and house birds and what the correct diet and stimulation that a bird will need looks like.

We provide a beautiful sanctuary where these birds can live out their days in naturally enriched , free flying and clean environments . 

Given there is no other registered rescue that does as we do in Sydney this is very much needed currently with 200 birds , 6 birds have been rehomed  and requests to take birds keep coming .

What I do is so important for every living bird to stop the cycle of abuse and neglect so no more birds have to suffer .
