Gemini Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of domestic pets and farm animals in need. Nestled in the Endless Mountains of northern Pennsylvania, our small hobby farm has evolved over decades from a breeding operation into a true sanctuary. Since our rescue efforts began in the late 1970s, we’ve provided safe haven for a variety of species, including dairy goats, Thoroughbred and Miniature Horses, Australian Shepherds, Chinese Cresteds, and countless rescued cats and kittens. As we learned more about the animal industry, we shifted our focus entirely toward rescue, recognizing that true compassion lies in helping the abandoned, the unwanted, and the unadoptable. Today, we are fully committed to providing a forever home to animals who have nowhere else to go and supporting our community through programs like Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) for local feral cat populations. Our mission remains simple but vital: to be a safe place for animals in desperate need, giving them the love and care they deserve. By choosing sanctuary over breeding, we stand firmly against the cycle of overpopulation and work to make a meaningful difference—one life at a time.
