It takes a lot of work to care for wild animals -large amount of time, energy, and money for wildlife rehabilitators to successfully release animals back into the wild. Wildlife rehabilitators work tirelessly to educate the public on a myriad of topics including natural history, human-wildlife conflict, animal biology, and disease outbreaks. Sadly to often the main reason wildlife needs help is due to human impacts. It is my hope that the education and work I do will instill a sense of joy, wonder and respect for the natural world as well as bring out the conservationist in all of us, and future generations.
