We save starving, abused stray dogs and cats from the streets and kill shelters in Romania. Every day in Romania family pets are thrown onto the streets, abandoned by cruel or inept owners, left to fend for themselves. The lucky ones are saved by compassionate rescuers, the unlucky ones are starved, kicked, chased, deliberately run over, poisoned. Some are caught by the cruel dog catchers and thrown into shelters where they are left to fight for meagre rations. Many die in these shelters. Stray2Me Rescue supports rescuers to find safe shelter for these poor souls. We pay for veterinary treatment and we support free neutering campaigns in an effort to assuage the situation. We find compassionate adopters and bring the Strays to a life of safety and love in the UK.
