Ladywell Neighbourhood Network provides social contact and volunteering opportunities as well as practical help to our target group who are socially isolated people in Ladywell and the surrounding areas. We plan to reduce social isolation in all our members, raising their motivation and self-esteem, increasing well-being and improving their quality of life. We will work towards giving them a stronger sense of community and belonging, with our volunteers also gaining increased confidence. Our doors are open to all and we will welcome all ages and participants to join in with our social events. It is important to our group that we are providing access to as wide a range of opportunities to enable social interaction with activities to suit all interests. We are also keen to involve everyone in the community and we connect with other local community groups, We are also happy to provide support for those who are referred to us by other agencies such as social work and women’s aid, this has increased over the past year and we will continue to accommodate for the needs of all in our community. at present we run 10 daytime session and 1 evening session and several weekend activities throughout the week with several evening and weekend one off events.
