Labradors in Need Cover Photo
Our main concern is to match the Labrador with the new home in the hope that it will be a lasting relationship and so we may appear fussy when you’re applying to adopt one of our Labradors. All potential adoptees will need to successfully pass a home check, where a series of questions will be asked about your lifestyle, and the security of your home & garden. We also recommend you make the effort to meet the dog on a couple of occasions to ensure it’s the correct Labrador for your family. This, we believe, reduces the adoption becoming a failed one. We have approx 13 long term foster dogs, all needing regular medical attention, which constantly depletes our funds. We also have labs coming into rescue regularly, and we ensure they are spayed/neutered, received vaccinations, flea and worm treatment and also any other medical attention required. We are a non profit, foster based charity that relies totally on fundraising and donations to help these wonderful dogs find their perfect family home.
