About us
Soi Dog Foundation was established in 2003 by the inspiring John and late Gill Dalley to improve the welfare of dogs and cats in Asia, resulting in better lives for both the animal and human communities, and to ultimately end animal cruelty.
Through world-leading initiatives, we manage the largest spay/neuter and vaccination programme (with over 1.4 million animals reached as of June 2025), run extensive rescue and adoption efforts, and lead with our community engagement programme – where we work with the highest level of Thai government to influence laws, promote humane education, and prosecute those involved in animal cruelty cases.
We're also on the frontlines fighting to end the brutal dog and cat meat trade, sending emergency rescue teams to help those affected by natural disasters, and positively changing animal welfare standards across Asia.
