South Essex Wildlife Hospital is a 24-7 registered veterinary practice and rescue charity specialising in the needs of sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife. Additionally, we help many domestic, exotic, and farm animals. Members of the public, local authorities, veterinary surgeries, and other animal charities including the RSPCA regularly contact us for advice and assistance. Our charity provides work placements for students, CPD courses for professionals, and a variety of courses to benefit the wider community. We are committed to providing education and training for the improvement of animal welfare and husbandry and committed to addressing our wider human impact on our environment. Our objectives are to relieve the suffering of animals by providing a rescue, rehabilitation, and veterinary service, to return all casualties to the wild when they are fit for release and to provide professional advice and education to anyone that needs it.
