Purrfect Companions of Norfolk (PCON) is a group of local citizens, all volunteers, with a mission to rescue, rehome and adopt stray and abandoned cats and kittens in Norfolk County. We are a non-profit rescue that has a no-kill philosophy. We strive to give all of the cats and kittens that come into our care a fighting chance to enjoy each and every one of their nine lives. We work to find loving, forever homes for felines of all ages. A place for these furry “kids” to call their own...where they will begin to trust...and for the most, where they will finally know what it feels like to be loved. Our motto is "Until they all have a home." Purrfect Companions ensures spay/neutering of all felines in their care and all cats and kittens are healthy and update to date on vaccines before adoption. Yearly veterinary expenses exceed $200,000 however that is just a portion of what is needed to run the shelter. Donations are integral to the operations of the shelter.
