We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization. At Windwalker Ridge Mustang Sanctuary our mission is to provide sanctuary for displaced mustangs who have been rounded up and removed from their home ranges. We strive to keep family bands and bonded pairs together in order to preserve and protect those relationships. We provide a rewilding setting with little human interference to facilitate natural behaviors as possible in a place surrounded by peace, safety, and love. We also work to educate the public about the plight our mustangs are facing and continue to advocate for them and their freedom in order to preserve and protect them for future generations. We believe the mustang is the heartbeat of our foundation and the everlasting symbol of freedom. We will be their voice and stand up for their freedom!
