Pathways to Safety International is the only non-profit, non-governmental organization that provides critical services to American sexual and gender based violence victims in foreign countries. This is currently achieved via a confidential crisis email. Federal funding to help American victims of sexual assault in foreign countries was discontinued in 2017, and 2019 for domestic violence victims. Pathways seeks to resort the International toll free hotline and comprehensive crisis center services to desperate Americans experiencing abuse abroad.
Over 65 million Americans travel abroad annually, and 9 million live abroad. Without Pathways, they do not have a non-governmental resource to assist them in the darkest hour of their lives. Help us restore full services in 2024.
