Lillian Timber Farms Inc., is a pioneering organization dedicated to empowering underserved communities through education, organic produce cultivation, and the promotion of healthy living practices. Our mission is to foster food sovereignty, wellness, community engagement, and economic development by providing educational opportunities in urban farming.Since our inception in 2019, Lillian Timber Farms has been a cornerstone of agriculture education, environmental advocacy, and community empowerment in Metro Oklahoma City. Our flagship project, "The Lottie Lot," nestled in Northeast Oklahoma City, stands as a testament to our commitment. This community garden, established through volunteer efforts and individual donations, serves as a hub for learning and growth.Central to our impact are key initiatives such as the "Sunrise Work Party," a monthly gathering where community members plant, harvest, and learn sustainable gardening techniques. Our "Seed Surrogates" program engages individuals and families in seedling cultivation, while "Literacy In The Garden" immerses children in literature and art activities promoting healthy living.Through collaborative partnerships with organizations like the Metropolitan Library System, OKC Beautiful, Restore OKC, and the OKC Zoo, we've reached over 500 families and harvested over 1,000 pounds of nutritious produce. As we continue to expand our impact, we invite you to join us in our mission to cultivate healthier, more resilient communities.
