We have been advocating for the protection, preservation and humane management of wild horses since 1997. We are currently working with Mesa Verde National Park to help gather the wild horses who roam the Park but must be rehomed due to lack of resources. We have worked with BLM a for the successful management of the wild horse population of the Spring Creek Basin Herd Management Area for many years, providing contraceptive darting assistance, water catchments, fencing and other volunteer assistance. We have provided research assistance and guidance for humane gathers and public responses to government proposals. We believe that the ultimate survival of the mustangs depends upon successful range management and domestication after necessary gathers, which in turn depends upon nonadversarial, positive training.
