Chester Pride has established itself as a key part of the LGBT+ community in Chester. Our annual event attracts tens of thousands of attendees from all over Cheshire, North Wales, Manchester, and Liverpool, and provides a safe space for the LGBT+ community to celebrate who they are. With our community focused approach we provide education and outreach to LGBT+ people, and to the large proportion of non-LGBT+ persons, and families that attend. We also support the community outside of our main event, with our Just Ask helpline offering advice, information, and access to key support services. We also provide befriending and mental health support services through our Just Ask project. All our work is led by the LGBT+ community, for the LGBT+ community, and is reliant on donations and volunteers. Each year we help thousands, and each year we know there's thousands more to help.
