Central Virginia Technical Large Animal Rescue (CVTLAR) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that provides emergency response services to animals in need. Our trained members use specialized equipment to get horses and other large animals out of difficult situations. These situations include but are not limited to being stuck in the mud, trailer accidents, down in a stall. Our team operates 100% off of donations and we do not charge the animals owners for our services. We actively educate the public on our services and continuously participate in trainings.
