The P.E.E.R. Center is a non-profit drop-in wellness, recovery and support center for persons living with mental health, addiction, and trauma concerns. Completely operated and managed by people with the same lived experiences, we provide a safe place where people are respected, encouraged, and supported as they journey to and through recovery and its ongoing maintenance. We operate in two physical locations in Columbus (Franklin County) Ohio, for in-person peer support services. We also operate a daily WarmLine for peer support via phone. Our services are available every day, including all holidays. People may drop in every day for one on one or group peer support, resources, socialization and connection activities like arts and crafts, among other things. Many of those we serve are underemployed or unemployed, and under resourced with respect to food and housing. Our mission is recovery, and we embrace the many self-directed pathways toward its achievement. We meet people wherever they are, and journey alongside on their path to wellness.
