A Helping Wing is a non-profit rescue located in Blairstown, NJ on about 40 acres. We are about Rescue, Rehab & Adoption. Our process is about multiple visits, looking for a connection between the bird and adopter (think of your first visit like speed dating, you’ll meet a lot of birds and we pull out the ones that are not a good fit), once that is found we work on educating adopters on how to properly handle and play with the bird as well as diet. We are always striving to improve our process and the birds life while they are here. One of our goals for this year to to upgrade cages and outdoor flights. We have been approved by the town to put an addition on the rescue building!
