Bide Awhile Animal Shelter has been providing a safe place for lost and abandoned animals since 1969.Our mission at Bide Awhile is to provide compassionate care, rehabilitation, and a safe haven for companion animals in need. We believe they deserve respect, dignity, and a chance for a happy life regardless of age, health status or breed.

Every animal that comes through our door receives health checks from our veterinarian, spay or neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, FIV/FeLV testing, and socialization before heading off to their forever home. We believe in Adoption That Fits and we strive to ensure that every companion and adopter are creating a life-long friendship.
