About us
We are for young people, with young people.
For over 50 years, we've supported young people in Aotearoa through life's challenges. Today, Youthline Central South Island and Youthline Central North Island support young people from Waitaki to Tasman districts and across Manawatu and surrounding districts. We are one of five Youthlines around the motu and independent of Youthline Auckland (trading as Youthline NZ).
Across our regions, we support hundreds of young people every year with:
counselling
peer support
youth workers in schools
mental health education
Together, we also provide the Mental Health Allies, a completely free online mentoring service for young people aged 12–25.
