Kanyana is a volunteer run organisation which receives no government funding. We rely on donations to continue to care for our Australian wildlife, including a breeding program for the critically endangered woylie(brush tailed bettong). Australian wildlife faces many dangers everyday. Unfortunately most admissions that we see are in one way or another caused by humans. Motor vehicle collisions and cat/dog attacks are our main reasons for admissions, of which we see approximately 3000 each year.
