Whitby wildlife sanctuary is a rescue and rehabilitation charity, taking in 4000 animals every year. Wildlife we admit include all manner of birds, from garden birds to seabirds, birds of prey to corvids. Hedgehogs are our most common mammal rescue but we also admit many other species too. Foxes, badgers and wild rabbits to name some. Our goal is to treat their injuries and ailments, handrear orphans and successfully treat all casualties with the aim to release them back into the wild.
