With 800,000 strays in Spain, we help the tip of the iceberg, but in the last 9 years, we have managed to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 1,500 dogs. Whilst not exclusively assisting in Spain, SOS have taken dogs from the kill stations and shelters in the UK, Bosnia, Serbia, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus and China. We now have 8 members of admin in the UK and 1 in Spain, who volunteer their time and energy to assist these rescues. These volunteers all work, have families but still manage to put hours and hours of time each week into saving lives. With no animal welfare in these countries, they would die in horrific circumstances. In the UK we can find loving homes after their assessment in foster homes.
