Go Eco has a vision for thriving communities that support healthy environments. We develop climate-resilient capability and capacity with communities. With dynamic collaborative community-led initiatives, we connect people to projects, opportunities, and learning opportunities across Waikato - from predator control and ecological restoration to waste minimisation education and skills to food redistribution and community-based abundance. As a centre for learning, a catalyst for change, and a voice for the environment, we strive to create a positive impact on the region.

Our core workstreams are Biodiversity, Energy & Transport and Kai and within these, we work to increase community capability and capacity for climate resilience through our key projects:

Food Rescue and redistribution for barrier-free access to kai

Food growing and community abundance models of sharing fresh food,

Bike Hub education for bike ownership, refurbishment and donating bikes to communities,

Predator Free communities protecting our native plants and wildlife from rats, possums, stoats and other predators,

Pekapeka tou-roa conservation and education,

Derail Consumerism, understanding personal style and textile care as responses to clothing waste,
