Anglicare Sydney have been helping the community for over 160 years, with 4,000 staff and 2,000 dedicated volunteers supporting over 60,000 people in need across Sydney.

The cost-of-living crisis has placed immense pressure on Australian households. Families are spending every cent trying to make ends meet – which means when an emergency strikes it pushes them further into poverty. They are forced to make impossible choices like paying for medication or putting food on the table.

Anglicare Sydney provide practical care to people in need through emergency food, financial counselling, and access to low-cost food through the Mobile Community Pantry. Above all, people in crisis will have a dedicated case manager to walk beside them and advocate for them – giving those who had lost all hope, the love and support they need to get back on their feet.

Through God’s grace and the support of people throughout Sydney, Anglicare is able to make Christ’s love real to people in need.
