About us

The Lord's Army Ministries (LAMIN) is registered in Alabama State as non profit organization. Lamin exists to fulfil the Great Commission as given by our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, under the leadership of Reverend Samuel Kamau Njuguna. At LAMIN, it's our conviction that we only serve as ministers of the manifold grace of God and in accordance with His gifting (1 Peter 4:10). We believe in the Holy Spirit as our enabler to fulfil God's call in our lives and so fulfil our mission in the world. The promised Holy Spirit has come, and we have received his power. We are therefore, witnesses of his saving grace in Jerusalem, in Samaria, in all Judea and to the uttermost parts of the earth. We are endeavouring to fulfil the Great Commission both at home and abroad and right now. For on the issue of where, it’s not either home or abroad. It’s ‘both and’ and we should therefore make a contribution, however minimal, both at home and abroad. We however understand that the task is not only monumental but also very urgent and that's why we value, and so seek and welcome partnerships. We believe we are not the only, but only one of the many organizations who has answered the call to preach the ‘power packed gospel.’ We then would rather complement rather than compete with the rest of the Church of Jesus Christ. We seek to be holistic in our approach to ministry and responsive to God's leading and the needs of humanity, the very people Christ died for. We began by planting the Lord's Army Base Church in Limuru Town in 2006. In June 2008, we planted Eastland's Community Church (ECC), in the Eastlands of Kenya’s Capital, Nairobi. True Love Fellowship was born in the year 2014 to take care of needy children and carries out a feeding and education program in Maili Saba slums, next to Dandora Estate. We have also established the Lamin School of Ministry for the purpose of training Church Leaders in the areas of Leadership, Theology, and Church Planting & Growth. In a nutshell, we seek to empower God’s people intellectually, spiritually, socially and financially as we fulfil our mission of ‘Building a Spiritual Army of Multiplying Disciples’ for God’s kingdom.
