The Kohn Foundation is the only non-profit that supports Grand Bahama Island with critical medical care for its shelter animals, rescue operations during crisis situations and ongoing spay/neuter programs for the overpopulated dog and cat situation. We raise money for vaccines, shelter salaries and ongoing operational shelter  costs.

In addition, TKF supports college-bound students who need financial assistance so that they can attend school and obtain degrees to live a better life. Our scholarship program over the last 20 years has enabled many young people to become doctors, engineers, teachers, nurses, accountants among other professions. Without our assistance, many of these talented and intelligent young people would have been restricted to a life with few professional choices.
