Tails of Hope Dog Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-specific breed rescue made up of dedicated dog lovers based in Memphis TN.  We have a network of families and individuals that provide foster care for rescue dogs and puppies until they can be adopted into loving, responsible homes. We focus on medical cases and those dogs or puppies with the most need.

Tails of Hope Dog Rescue’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome abused, abandoned, surrendered, neglected, and unwanted dogs and puppies from local shelters .  Our medical costs average over $250,000 per year and we rely 100% on donations to continue our mission. 

We have and always will focus on medical cases. We believe those dogs that are in need of medical, such as orthro surgeries, heartworm treatments, eye surgeries etc are in the greatest danger of euthanasia  at shelters and least likely to get out, so we step in to save as many as we can. That takes not only dedicated fosters but financial support. . 

Tails of Hope Dog Rescue was founded in 2010 in the Memphis, TN area and has saved over 2000 rescue dogs with the help of countless volunteers and foster families!
