Stand Up envisions Australian Jews realising a just Australia where everyone has the opportunity to thrive—unconstrained by attitudes and systems that entrench disadvantage. We fearlessly acknowledge that our society holds some of us back and we are committed to working towards a future where everyone’s potential is unleashed. Stand Up has empowered refugee communities in Victoria, the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in New South Wales, and engaged, educated and activated Australian Jews across the country. Stand Up has had a profound impact on hundreds, if not thousands, of Jewish Australians, by broadening their understanding of our world and providing them with an opportunity to give something back. We work tirelessly to repair the world by inspiring and mobilising the Australian Jewish community and working together with marginalised communities to tackle Australia's most pressing social challenges through action and education, while rallying the Jewish community to respond to humanitarian and environmental crises.
