Over the last ten years the Foundation has developed a comprehensive suite of evidence based, and externally evaluated, programs aimed at:
- Preventing bullying and violence in schools, sporting clubs and the community
- Educating young people about the harm and impacted associated with alcohol and other drugs
- Educating young people and their parents about how to host a safe party
- Educating parents about behavioural impact and positive role modelling for their children
- Providing young people most at risk of being impacted by violence with access to positive adult role models
- Mentoring support to vulnerable young people in the community
The Sammy D Foundation has educated in the last 11 years, over 130,000 participants, in particular young people, on the impacts of bullying, violence and alcohol and other drug misuse by providing relevant age appropriate information, knowledge and tools.
