At Loki's Lodge we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home unwanted farmed animals. Too many creatures are left to perish when conditions get too hard, when people's lives change or when they are simply considered waste product. We provide an opportunity for people to interact with animals they have only ever known as food. Though this interaction, we provide information about animal welfare and climate issues inherent in most large scale livestock farming today. Though education, we hope that people will make more informed decisions around animal welfare when buying meat, dairy and eggs.
