Tranquility Sanctuary's goal is to purchase properties that can be returned to natural habitat for our wildlife. Our team consists of dedicated individuals who have been watching our native animals disappear before our eyes from over shooting, development and industry. We had to act to secure habitat for wildlife to call home and live out their lives uninterrupted. These properties will be actively overseen by trained caretakers to ensure the animals safety, the facilities will be used to educate the public with strictly regulated day excursions periodically and we aim to secure properties in each State of Australia as sanctuaries. These sanctuaries will be home to all native animals who live in these areas and ensuring suitable habitat is established and maintained to support them. This will be just one part of our work that we are keen to get started on. Having safe sites for releasing rehabilitated wildlife for local wildlife carers will further assist the wild populations to help establish strong breeding stock for future generations of species, as many rehabilitated wildlife are released onto farm land, as release options continue to dwindle with increased industry. As each property is purchased, we will be encouraging local school children to take part in tree planting days, educational wildlife competitions and building of nesting boxes as additional housing until trees mature, all in the hope of bringing awareness to our youth, to set them on a firm course to conservation for the future. Much work is needed to repair our environment and our team will not shy away from our calling. We support our wildlife carers in the work they do and will work with them to help them continue their important work.
