RSR Motorsport Safety is a UK-based charity providing specialist Rescue, Medical and Recovery services to Motorsport events nationwide. Our primary focus is keeping circuits safe, operational and incident-ready, protecting drivers, officials, marshals and spectators through professional, rapid response when things go wrong.

At the heart of RSR Motorsport Safety is our volunteer Rescue and Recovery team. These are highly trained individuals who operate track side rescue units, recovery vehicles and support assets in dynamic, high-risk environments. They respond immediately to on-track incidents, secure damaged vehicles, manage hazards such as fire, debris or fluid spills, and coordinate safe vehicle recovery to minimise disruption while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Our Recovery teams are skilled in vehicle stabilisation, winching, lifting and safe extraction of competition vehicles from challenging positions — from gravel traps to barriers and restricted access areas. Working closely with race control and event organisers, they ensure incidents are resolved efficiently so events can continue safely and professionally.

While we maintain clinical capability to support where required, our core strength lies in operational rescue, vehicle recovery, scene management and safety coordination. Every volunteer undertakes structured training, scenario-based exercises and ongoing competency development to meet recognised Motorsport standards.
