Refugee Protection International is a U.S. 501(c)3 public charity that has provided humanitarian assistance directly and through our overseas charity partners to nearly 1 million conflict affected civilians in the Middle East and Ukraine, with the intention of expanding to other regions of the world. Types of assistance provided through our refugee-led collaboration include refugee women's livelihoods assistance, malnutrition screening and treatment, food aid, education, emergency shelter and non-food items, urban shelter upgrades, maternal and child health, civilian evacuations, multi-purpose cash assistance, and psychosocial support. Our humanitarian model is inclusive, needs-based, impartial, and program efficient with a focus on effectively filling emergency gaps in humanitarian assistance, protection, and supporting lasting self-reliance among conflict-affected civilians living in and near war zones.

We have a particular focus on women, children, and the elderly, and strive to include persons with disabilities and disadvantaged youth. Animals can also benefit: our Ukrainian partners evacuate civilians, dogs, and cats from the frontlines with our support. Locations of current assistance include: Ukraine, Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Turkey-Syrian border region. We aim to expand this reach to war-affected civilians in Sudan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, and Ethiopia. We were founded in late 2015 and welcome this opportunity to connect with new giving partners. We offer our supporters multiple ways of engaging with RPI. While donations fund the majority of our humanitarian programs, we have also sold over 33,377 products at artisan markets across New England, 95% made by refugee women in 4 countries, who have been trained in their craft with funding from our donors and training implementing partners.
