Our mission is to offer safe haven for unwanted horses until a forever home has been found, or in some cases, sanctuary for those who cannot be rehomed due to a medical condition or other circumstance. Our sanctuary property allows our horses to thrive in a natural, herd dynamic, but still receive the quality care and love they need. Care decisions for each horse are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, prioritizing safety and overall quality of life. Our herd consists of a mixture of long-time permanent residents, as well a newcomers still getting accustomed to their new home, including two ex-race horse Standardbreds we rescued from the slaughter pipeline this past spring. We doubled our herd in the past year and looking to expand to not only continue with aftercare of our residents, but to offer sanctuary to others.
