RADD rescues dogs at risk of or placed on the euthanasia list in kill shelters. The rescue team aims to support, train, and educate fosters and adopters to support a successful placement for shelter dogs. RADD believes that a strong support system for fosters and adopters increases the positive outcome for dog placement. The RADD team places the 3/3/3 system at the forefront of our education with fosters and adopters to allow dogs to decompress and give them the time to let their personalities emerge. No dog or human is perfect, but there are perfect matches that can be cultivated with knowledge of best practices for integrating a shelter dog into the family. We know these shelter dogs have so much to offer and we want to help the family, human and canine, to adapt well to the transition.
