We are a dog rescue saving one dog at a time while bringing awareness to the stray overpopulation problem in Houston. We focus on the dogs that are medically critical and/or injured. We take the dogs that nobody else is willing to take. We take the dogs that others would just euthanize because they would cost too much to treat. We don't consider the cost when helping an animal. If there is a chance to save the dog, we will do so at all costs, as long as the dog is willing to fight, we will fight. The dogs we take in cost an average of $2,500, while some are upwards of $20,000. We've had veterinary specialists try to convince us to euthanize a dog by telling us he may cost $30,000 but that doesn't deter us. We don't try to save as many as possible, we simply try to make a difference in a dog that otherwise would have no hope.
