There are 18 species of turtles in New York. 12 are endangered or threatened. We work 365 days a year to protect our native turtles. We get no government funding. We rescue rehab and release over 300 previously injured and distressed turtles per year since 2012 and are open 24/7. With increasing challenges to do so, we need help to continue our important mission.
