Project ComeBack is a unique 501(c)(3) non-profit charity that provides opportunities and services to both people and horses with a mission that focuses on mutual welfare and well-being between horses and humans, while remaining good stewards of the landscape and our environment. The core mission of Project ComeBack is to rescue neglected, traumatized, or unwanted horses that are destined for slaughter. They are rescued and re-homed to two US locations (MA & SC), in perpetuity. The other main mission of PCB is to offer healing programs to our country’s US military veterans alongside our rescued horses. This healing is symbiotic between the rescued horses and the veterans (unmounted) as they confront and tackle personal traumas while helping each other along the way. To date, we have rescued 79 horses, helped over 50 people in our programs, and have a team of 35 volunteers.
As a grass roots charity donations, grants, and funds go directly to rescuing and caring for our equids, as well as our mutually beneficial horse/human programming. When you choose to support a grass roots organization like ours you can be sure every dollar is going exactly where we say it is. Smaller grass roots charities need the help now more than ever, and make a huge lasting impact on the local community. Thank you for considering supporting our efforts and mission.
