Prickles and Paws is a hedgehog rescue charity dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of native British Hedgehogs. We admit hedgehogs from across Cornwall and parts of west Devon and work closely with the RSPCA and local vets to provide complete treatment, rehabilitation, care and release to sick, injured and/or orphaned hedgehogs. We also offer a helpline service which is available to the public as well as vets, deliver a wide range of educational workshops and run a research program with a number of Universities.
Our current priority is to improve the care and conservation of the native British hedgehog, share knowledge and information to the general public to help protect the species.
Aim: To expand the services we provide allowing for the care, rehabilitation and release of native British wildlife species becoming Prickles and Paws Wildlife Hospital. We are very close to moving to premises and are working on securing the last bit of funding to make this a reality.
