I began Pet Rescue & Adoption Service in June 2016 with the aim of rescuing & rehoming cats that would only live indoors (including a secure outdoor enclosure where possible.) People told me this wasn't practical but I have found many people very happy to learn how to keep their cats content and have a fulfilling life indoors. I also want to spread education about feeding cats and dogs a truly nourishing diet which is worth every cent of the extra cost - because there is a reason cheap pet food is cheap: grains and nasty, indigestible & disease-causing fillers are cheap! Otherwise I have very similar goals to any other Rescue: to stop unnecessary euthanasia of healthy pets, spread the message to DESEX YOUR PET to the community, and provide a safe haven through a foster-based system of caring for as many homeless animals as I can afford until they are adopted to their forever families. I rescue mainly cats, but also dogs & rabbits. Vetwork is my main expense and no animal in my care is euthanased due to insufficient funds. I am not a Charity so I receive no funding from any source whatsoever and I have taken out a large loan to cover expenses. Any donation is very gratefully appreciated.
