In the last 30 years over 600 Australian defence force members have committed suicide! In 2008 it was estimated that we had over 3000 Veterans living rough on the streets around Australia. With our veterans returning home from active service suffering PTSD related metal illnesses, they are vulnerable to homelessness and financial crisis. At Wounded Heroes Australia we see this crisis first hand and as a first responder charity we are on the front lines with these people.
