We provide a safe sanctuary for 23 donkeys that have landed here for different reasons...some were neglected by previous owners, abused or merely outlived their owners  or were no longer wanted. They all have a story to tell and they get to tell that story to the hundreds of guests we host each year. We educate people about the history of donkeys, why they matter and what we can do to ensure their future. We also host numerous special need groups, retirement communities, and school groups to interact with the donkeys. Everyone leaves with a new perspective and appreciation for the "invisible equine" , the donkey. We are looking to become a certified therapy facility and the donkeys will provide the perfect companion to our goal.
