Not many people know how special our NZ endemic butterflies are, but they are possibly even more threatened than our birdlife and amazing plants. We are the only charity in NZ specifically working in the field of creating awareness about NZ's butterflies and moths. But we need financial support to talk to children and families and gardeners about why we should care for our butterflies and moths... they are an excellent indicator of environmental change and pollinators as well! Our vision is to ensure that Aotearoa New Zealand's ecosystems support thriving moth and butterfly populations.
