We lead, inspire and enable innovative approaches to biodiversity, conservation and sustainability to protect and secure the future of this special environment, the UNESCO recognised Western Port Biosphere Reserve, and our way of life. Our Foundation is independent and must source its own funding to undertake vital advocacy, climate action and environmental protection and restoration. We share our experience and learning with other UNESCO Biosphere Reserves around the world, for the benefit of the millions of people who live, work and play within them. 

With a growing portfolio of projects underway, we need more public support to ensure we deliver positive outcomes for our climate and environment through exciting programs like blue carbon capture in our extensive mangrove, seagrass and saltmarsh ecosystems, supporting farmers and industry in their efforts to conserve and effectively manage precious water resources, and forging connections between our communities and the environment to promote awareness of how every individual and household can help us ensure a healthy environment and living spaces now and into the future.
